Cornelius "Dutch" Kalk

Cornelius “Dutch” Kalk passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013. Beloved husband to the late Claire Kelly Kalk. He was born on November 13, 1928 in Amsterdam Netherland to his late parents, Cornelius and Ida Schutte Kalk. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Anna Kalk Salomons and Bregtje Kalk Heller both of the Netherlands. Survived by one son, Cornelius J.“Neil” Kalk (Iris) and one brother Piet Kalk (Julia) and one brother-in-law Jan Heller; three grandchildren, Donna (Louis), Stacey and Cori; and two great grandchildren Kyle and Claire. He was a resident of Harvey, LA since 1963 and was retired from Avondale Shipyards. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
