Corrine Winter Authement

Corrine Winter Authement, went home to be with The Lord peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her first beloved husband, Lawrence J. Winter Sr. and her second beloved husband, Woodrow L. Authement Sr.; her parents, Fritz J. Martin Sr. and Mary Toups Martin; and her brothers -in-law, Douglas Ordoyne, George Prestmo, Lloyd Finn, Charlie Winter, Alvin Winter and Alfred Winter; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth McAlinden, Betty Winter, Clair Prestmo, Barbara Winter and Gloria Finn. She is the loving mother of Lawrence J. Winter Jr. (Victoria). She is the devoted grandmother of Samuel J. Winter Sr. and Brynn Elyse Winter. She is the devoted great grandmother of Samuel J. Winter Jr. She is the loving sister of her twin, Cora Lee Ordoyne; her other sisters, Fay Williams (Roy Sr.), Clara Monson (Richard), Mary Ann Hunter; her brothers, Fritz Martin Jr. (Donna) and Dean Martin. She is the loving sister-in-law of John Winter, Josefa Winter and Carol Winter. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A life-long resident of Marrero and Harvey, Corrine will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express a very special thank you to the staff at Our Lady of Wisdom for their kind and loving care given to Corrine and her family. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes Masses given in Corrine’s name. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, February 5, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
