Craig Stephan Root

Craig Stephan Root (61) of Marrero, La passed peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at West Jefferson Medical Center.  Craig was born September 28, 1962, in Metairie, LA and was a life-long resident of Jefferson Parish, LA.  He was a serious and adamant fan of LSU Football, NHRA and Nascar racing.  Craig was a talented and versatile automotive technician and was employed through his career in the profession. Craig was preceded in death by his father, Fred Paul Root.  He is survived by two daughters, Magen Truxillo and Lauren DesHotel, one sister Deborah Sekulich, one brother Gary Root, his Mother Linda Wainwright Evans and multiple grandchildren.

Craig lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed!
