Curtis Joseph Blair

Curtis Joseph Blair found peace in heaven on June 17, 2011. He was born on December 10, 1958. Son of the late Archie Blair and Elise Blair Ashpole, stepson of Gary W. Ashpole. He is survived by his two daughters” Courtney and Cameron Blair along with his brothers and sisters: Terrie Fell (Henry), Wayne Blair (Jacqueline), Jack Blair (Sheila), Phillip Blair and Nancy Blair (Stefan Attaway). Stepbrothers and stepsisters: David Ashpole (Karen), Dan Ashpole (Donna), Debbie Rask (Bernie) and Diane Sanders (Gerald). Curtis also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Curtis graduated from West Jefferson High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He was the Program Director at Chickasaw Nations Industries of Edmond, Oklahoma where he resided. Previously, he was employed as Vice President of Claims Department at PBS Blue Cross Insurance Company. A memorial service will be held to celebrate the joy and love he brought to all who knew him on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 12 noon until 1:30 PM at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA.
