Cynthia "Cindy" Robichaux

Cynthia “Cindy” Robichaux, age 78, passed away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, January 25, 2025. 

Beloved wife of the late Percy J. Robichaux. Mother of Nicole Seal (Rowland), Brian Robichaux (Kaci) and the late Todd J. Robichaux and Scott M. Robichaux. Mother-in-law of Mary Robichaux. Daughter of the late Jackie Jaccuzzo and Leonard Summers, Sr. Sister of Leonard “Len” Summers, Jr. (Ann). Grandmother of Brittany Robichaux, Ashley Robichaux, Hunter Seal, Michael Seal, Kassidy Robichaux (Trent), Kaden Robichaux, Kadence Robichaux, and Karson Robichaux. Godmother of Chris Sapia and Ryan Summers. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a graduate of Terrebonne High School, Class of 1965 and retired after 30 years of service from JPPSS. She was a member of the Harvey Golden Age Club, Golden Opportunity, Red Hat Flashers, St. Rosalie Ladies Altar Society, Jonathan Parks Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Retiree Luncheon Group and was actively involved in many other organizations. She liked her monthly trips to the casino and was an avid LSU and Saints fan. She loved decorating for every holiday and loved spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly. She was a native of Houma, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Marrero, Louisiana. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1pm at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 600 2nd Street, Harvey, Louisiana. Visitation will be held at the church from 9am until 1pm with the Rosary being held at 8:30am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
