Cynthia "Cindy" Crochet, born on September 29, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 68. She was a remarkable woman, deeply cherished by her family and friends, who knew her as the most caring, giving, and selfless person one could encounter.
Cindy dedicated her life to serving and uplifting those around her. Her devotion to her family was unparalleled; she would have done absolutely anything for her children and grandchildren. With immense pride, she shared her love and joy in their accomplishments and milestones, nurturing a close-knit family that epitomized love and support.
Survived by her loving husband, Richard Crochet Sr., Cindy is mourned by her children: Wendy Palmer and her husband, Brad; Ryan Crochet and his wife, Heather; Richard Crochet III, affectionately known as Bud; and Angie Folse and her husband, Cecil Jr. (CJ); Todd Crochet and his wife Chelsea. Her legacy continues through her beautiful grandchildren: Austin and Kailyn Palmer; Layla Crochet; Jaci and Peyton Folse; and Landan and Miyana Crochet, along with Jaiden Crochet. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and they will forever remember their Grandma’s warmth and love.
Cindy's enduring spirit also lives on in her siblings: Bonnie Wade, Penny Foret, and Leslie Foret Sr., as well as her brother-in-law, Jessie Wade Sr. Together, they will carry forward the memories of a sister who loved fiercely and selflessly.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Adley and Dorothy Foret, as well as her sisters, Lovely Wade and Reanna Pietraroia. Though they have departed this earthly life, their impact and love remain woven into the fabric of Cindy’s family.
Friends and family are invited to honor her memory at two gatherings on March 11, 2025, at Mothe Funeral Homes, LLC in Marrero, LA.
