Cynthia Bordelon Durham

On Sunday, February 12, 2023, Cynthia Bordelon Durham passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Cynthia was preceded by her grandparents Elsie and John and Norma and Tee, her father Clanard II, brother Clanard III, daughter Sherrie, son John Sr., and great-nephew Jonathan. She is survived by her husband Charles, mother Alice, brother Barry and his fiancée Monique, her children Tonia and Oris, and Michael Sr. and Leslie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Katherine, Anthany, Shelby, Heather, Amber, Carter, Michael Jr., Wade, Keilah and John Jr., her great-grandchildren Aliyana and Broc as well as her nieces Mandi and Victoria. Along with other family members. Cynthia was a member of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for 11 years as a Reserved Office and 17 years full time. She retired from JPSO as a detective. Cynthia enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to her garden. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday,, February 20, 2023 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time. Interment will be private.
