Dana P. Lefort

Dana Paul Lefort, a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA, passed away on November 30, 2012 from melanoma at the age of 58 years. He is preceded in death by is father, Linward P. Lefort, Jr. Survived by his loving mother, Lelia Troxler Lefort. Loving father of Stacie Owens (Rhett), Chelsea Lefort and Summer Bennett. Beloved “Pops” of Aidan Lefort, Amelia Owens, Victoria Bellanger, Felicia and Frank Dejean. Brother of Jed, Jody (Jody) and Camille (Gisele). Godfather of Dixie Hoerner. Beloved nephew of Janet Scioneaux and Rita Mae Troxler. Loving longtime companion of Vicky Brossette. Best friend of Cary Adams. Dana was an avid golfer and was proud to say that he was the only one of his brothers to make a hole-in-one. The family would like to extend their gratitude to River Region Hospice for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
