Daniel "Danny" Blanchard, Jr.

Daniel “Danny” Franklin Blanchard, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Theresa M. Blanchard. Son of the late Daniel F. Blanchard, Sr. and Margie O. Blanchard. Loving and devoted father of Daniel Paul Blanchard (Wife Cherie), Jennifer Blanchard Siguenza (Husband Carlos) and Kimberly Blanchard Tizzard (Husband Billy). Loving grandfather of Emily Tizzard, Olivia Tizzard, Carleigh Siguenza, Megan Siguenza and Dannielle Blanchard. Brother of Deborah B. Lecompte (Husband Joseph “Chicken”) and the late Michael E. Blanchard (Wife Carol). He was loved by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Danny was raised in Westwego, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for the past 37 years. Visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM with Rev. James J. Autry officiating. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
