Daughter of the late Lloyd West and Mercedes Nugent West. Mother of Angela Farmer Ledoux (the late Michael), Amy Hill Cavanaugh (Gregory), and Ashley Hill. Loving Grandmother of Zachary, Mercedes, Zoe, Haylee, Lexus, Jason “Bubby”, Matthew, Harley, Lanie, Alana, Sequoia and Benjamin. Sister of Malcolm “Mac” Holland (Monica), Sharon West Sanchez and Nancy Aubin Holland. Godmother of Dana Bumgarden. Best friend of Lloyd Laine and Marie Kennedy. Darleen was born in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She was a member of Westpoint Church. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 17, 2014 from 6PM until 12 Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Graveside services will be held at Coalville Methodist Church Cemetery in Woolmarket, MS on Tuesday at 2PM.
