Darold Dave Sercovich Sr.

Darold "D.D." Sercovich, Sr. passed away on July 23, 2015 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Kimberly Chandler Sercovich. Father of Kaitlyn, Darold Jr. (Tasha), Jason (Lori), and Adam Sercovich (Brandi). Grandfather of twelve and great grandfather of two. Son of the late William Sercovich, Sr. and Josephine Franicevich Sercovich. Brother of Barbara Sercovich Kennair, William Sercovich, Jr., Anthony Sercovich, Gary Sercovich, Sr., Terry Sercovich, and the late Cpl. Joseph Sercovich. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Darold was a native and resident of Plaquemines Parish. He attended Buras High School and played for the Buras football team winning the State Championship in 1966. He was a third generation oyster fisherman. After hurricane Katrina, he settled in Hattiesburg, MS. His talent for cooking was from his mother, and he was a lifelong LSU and Saints fan. He will be deeply missed by all.
