Daryl Lee Boudreaux Mabes

Daryl Lee Boudreaux Mabes went to meet her maker on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 6:35 pm at the age of 73. Beloved wife of 56 years to Ernest Mabes Sr. Mother of the late Ernest "Butch" Mabes Jr. and Barbara "Bobbie" Guillot (Martin). Beloved daughter of the late Henry Nicholas Boudreaux and Eugenia "Genie" Pennison Boudreaux. Grandmother of Monica Mabes Heredia (Lander), Angela Mabes, Adrianne Kron Howe (Dennis), Ernest "Lee" Mabes III (Sheila), and Wayne Kron Jr. Great Grandmother of Ernest "Roy" Mabes IV, Reghan Howe, Rachel Howe, and Dinah Heredia. Sister of the late Ronald Boudreaux of California. Also survived by a host of step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, family and extended family members.
She was the co owner of AA Mortgage and Investors. Member of Holy Name of Mary High School Classmates of 1958 and Archbishop Blenk Kaycee Ladies Auxiliary and a life time resident of Gretna, La.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La. on Wednesday April 2, 2014 from 6pm until 9pm and Thursday April 3, 2014 from 10am until 1pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church, 6th Street, Gretna, La. on Thursday at 1:30pm. Followed by Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
