Daryl Edroy McKinney, Sr. “Mac/Al” passed away November 23, 2015. Beloved husband of Madeline Dedek McKinney for 55 years. Father of Daryl “Eddie” McKinney, Jr. (Daphne), Dari McKinney, Sandi Turner (Jerry Mac), and Stacie Vik (Robert). Grandfather of Devin McKinney, Drew McKinney, Erin Lanier, Megan Vik, Jaret Vik, and the late baby John Lanier. Great-grandfather of BrieAnn Korach, Dayton McKinney, Mae McKinney, and Riley Lanier. Son of Mae Buras McKinney and the late David “Puggy” McKinney. Brother of Sandra Koonce-Milholland (Jim). Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Age 74 years, a native of Venice, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. He was the manager of Transway Transmission for over 20 years and former owner of McKinney Boat Rentals. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 1 PM until 6 PM.
