Dave Truman Feurtado passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. Beloved husband of Carolyn Fayard Feurtado for 43 years. Loving father of Dave Feurtado, Jr. (wife, Miriam), Denna F. Perque (husband, Brady, Jr.), Troy Feurtado, Chad Feurtado (fiancée, Alicia Foret), and Wesby Feurtado (fiancée, Angel Markiewicz). Grandfather of Chayse, Carla, Courtney, Brady III, Brooke, Karli, Maranda, Dylan, Troy Jr., Quentin, Kieran, Alyssa, Logan, Joshua, Christian, Katelynn, Landon, and the late Caylee. Great grandfather of Elliott. Brother of Lizzette DeReyna, Otis and Frank Feurtado and the late Ernest Feurtado. Also survived by a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, family and friends. Son of the late Zola Hill Feurtado and Thomas O. Feurtado. Son-in-law of the late Evelyn and Dave Fayard, Sr. Mr. Feurtado worked for Houma Industries as an Industrial Pipefitter for 30 years. He loved fishing and adored his wife and family. Age, 67 years. A native of Utila, Honduras and a resident of Marrero, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 9 AM until 3 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 3 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, plants preferred or donations may be made in his name to First Baptist Church of Marrero, 7th Street
