Dave A. Nicholson

Dave A. Nicholson departed this life at his residence on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM at 70 years of age. He was the beloved husband of Brenda Hezeau Nicholson. Son of the late Lucille Joseph Kamphaus and stepson of the late John Bernard Kamphaus. Brother of Linda Smith Joffrion (Larry). Brother in law of Janice Hezeau Schrieffer (Richard). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a retired electrician and a member of IBEW Local Union 130 for 45 years. He was in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 218.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Philip Neri Church, 6500 Kawanee Ave., Metairie, LA on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Lakelawn All Saints Mausoleum, Metairie, LA. Visitation will be Monday morning from 11 AM until 1 PM. Mothe Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
