David P. Allemand, Sr. passed away on September 15, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Husband of Freda Rocha Allemand. Father of David P. Allemand, Jr., Jennifer Allemand, Jeannie Allemand, Amanda “Digga” Allemand and Nicholas “ #5 “ Allemand (fiancé Heather Thibodeaux). Grandfather of Joseph “Micky Jack” Allemand, Kiley “Princess” Brooks and Bella´ Angelle Allemand. Brother of Sandra Allemand, Gary Allemand and Charles Morvant. Son of the late Eroy Allemand and Gloria Morvant Allemand Melancon. Companion of Carry Brunet.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and retired after 30 years of service from the Jefferson Parish School System as Plant Manager for John Quincy Adams Middle School in Metairie.
Relatives, friends and employees of the Jefferson Parish School System, John Quincy Adams Middle School, Wal-Mart Supercenter (Harvey) are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 6 PM to 10 PM.
