David "David C" Carboni, Sr.

David “David C” Carboni Sr. went Home to his Lord and Savior on July 11, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Barbara DiMarco Carboni. Father of Rob Scallan, Victoria Cleveland and David Carboni Jr. Step-father of Tressa Boone and Steven Hill. Grandfather of Gracey, Ashley, Justin, Riley and Remy. Son of the late Josephine Hote Carboni and Saverio Joseph Carboni. Son-in-law of Mary Centra DiMarco and the late Steve DiMarco. Brother-in-law of Sandra Mailhos and Georgius Ruiz (husband Daniel). Also survived by his cousin, Janice Hote, aunt and uncle, May and Ike Foster along with many other loving relatives and friends.
David was a talented singer and musician who sang and played with many local bands that include: “The Q”, “Mo Jo”, “King’s Row”, “Thrill”, “New Orleans Vintage”, “Deja Vu” and “Limited Edition”. A gifted musician, he was adept at playing the drums, guitar, bass and percussion. He looked at his mastery of music as a gift from God and shared his talents with many Christian songs that he wrote and performed. In addition to his induction into the Westbank Musicians Hall of Fame, his passion for classic cars led him to his membership of the Shake, Rattle and Roll Car Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed but his life will be celebrated.
