David J. "Bully" Fayard

David J. “Bully” Fayard, III a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA went home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 67. Beloved husband of 8 years to Peggy L. Fayard. Son of the late Dave J. Fayard and Evelyn Marie Perez Fayard. Father of Derral J. Fayard (Pam), Michael J. Fayard (Marlo), Evelyn A. Fayard (Craig) and Kelly F. “Man” Nunez (Josh). Stepfather of Stephen West, Dawn West (Jeremy), Richard West and Angela West (Marc). Survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 late great grand-daughter. Brother of Linda Abadie, Carolyn Feurtado, Earline “Tee” Nenos and the late Gloria Breaux, Barbara Fayard, Rene’ Fayard and Baby Dave Fayard. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. “Bully” was a member of Heritage Bible Church in Terrytown and he was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 4PM until 10PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 7PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Bible Church in David’s memory.
