David Christopher Hamann, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the age of 38. Loving son of Mary April Hamann DiBlasi, Mario DiBlasi and the late David Christopher Hamann, Sr. Loving father of Christopher Hein Hamann. Brother of Andrea DiBlasi and Jeanine Hamann Ewald. Uncle of Ashley Ewald, Ambur Ewald and Christy Ewald. Godfather of Durand Ewald, Jr. Great Uncle of Bella DeSalvo. Grandson of Lillian Hamann, Irene April, Anna Evans and the late Roy Hamann, Sr., Frederick April, Joyce Simoneaux April and Anthony DiBlasi. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. David was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 10AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Valence Street Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
