David Lee Sneathern

David Sneathern entered into eternal rest on September 25, 2024 in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Born on May 25, 1962, in Marshall, AR.

David devoted 27 years of his professional life to Offshore Shipyard. His commitment to his job was matched only by his love for his family. David enjoyed hunting and fishing; however, his most cherished moments were spent with his family.

He is survived by his father, TC Sneathern (Ann); his sisters, Helen Burlette and her husband Tom, and Carrol Moss and her husband Wayne; his son, David Sneathern Jr. and his wife Heather, along with their children, Lindsey, Channing, Isaac, David III, and Abigail; his daughter Christina Sneathern and her children, Makayla and Kaleb; and his daughter Katie Sneathern. Additionally, David is remembered fondly by many cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom will cherish the memories of the time spent together.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Nora F. Sneathern, and his brother, Darrel B. Sneathern, both of whom he held dearly in his heart.

Visitation services will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Memorial service at 1:30 PM at Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA. Interment will be private.

The family requests that everyone dress down and be as comfortable as possible. He never liked dressed clothes  He loved his jeans and t-shirts!

David's legacy will continue to live on through the love shared among his family and friends, many of whom he touched with his kindness and enthusiasm for life. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
