David Keith St. Pierre

October 24, 1961 — April 17, 2023

David St. Pierre, age 61, passed away peacefully at the home he and wife built in Mandeville, LA on April 17, 2023. Loving husband of Jan W. St. Pierre of 28 years and father of Samantha Ware (Gregory). Son of Joyce St. Pierre and the late Ray St. Pierre and brother of Mark St. Pierre and the late John St. Pierre. Also survived by nephew Collin St. Pierre and niece Britton St. Pierre. David was born on October 24, 1961 in Hattiesburg, MS and was a graduate of John Ehret High School and Nicholls State University where he was an accomplished and dedicated member of the varsity football teams. Although football was his first love, he became an an enthusiastic LHSAA fastpitch softball umpire after spending many years fostering a love of softball with his daughter, Sam. He also was an avid fisherman who truly loved Louisiana’s sportsman’s paradise. Over the years, he developed many close friendships that formed an extended family that surrounded him in his times of need. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 LAPALCO BLVD., in Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM.
