David Wayne "Moosehead" Galmiche, Sr.

David Wayne “Moosehead” Galmiche, Sr. lost his battle with cancer on March 17, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was 50 years of age. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph C. Galmiche and his sister, Frankie Jo Galmiche Dove.
Survivors include his children, Tiffany G. Swindle (Justin), David Galmiche, Jr. (Charlene) and Sadie Galmiche Forsythe; mother, Frances P. Galmiche; siblings, Rhonda G. Rodi (Dominick), James Galmiche (Becky), Joseph C. Galmiche, Jr. (Andrea) and Anthony P. Galmiche (Andrea’); nine grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends. David was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish, LA and was a talented carpenter. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 6 PM to 10 PM. Services will be held for 8 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ).
