Davis A. Verret Jr.

Davis Verret Jr. departed this life on Friday July 28th. He will be remembered and cherished forever by his wife Lynda whom he adored, his son Davis (Tom), daughter Lisa and daughter Susan (Dannie). He is also survived by his siblings Gueydan, Elizabeth (James), Richard (Patricia), & Pam. Brother-in- law Malcolm (Linda), Sister-in-law Rebecca (Henry), Sister-in- law Regina, 2 Grandchildren Jessica and Rodney Dereck St. Pierre, 2 Great-Grandchildren, Audrie and Avan Ketchum. He is being welcomed home at the heavenly gates by his parents Davis Sr. and Mary, his brother James (Diana), Mother-in-law Daisy, Father-in-law Malcolm, Sister-in-law Shirley (Lowell), Charlotte (Morris), Brother-in-law Roger, Brother-in-law Robert, Sister-in-law Marjorie, Brother-in-law Kenneth and Son-in-law Rodney, beloved uncle and friend to many.. He served in the U.S Air Force as a young man and He was later employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for many years. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to  The American Cancer Society. According to his wishes, Davis was cremated; Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 9AM until 11AM.  A Memorial Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM.
