Delton Joseph Lejeune

Delton Joseph Lejeune on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Beloved husband of Ethel Matte Lejeune for 62 years. Father of Wanda L. Clayton, Carolyn L. Garic (the late Charles), Darlene L. Robbins (Mike), and Terrel Joseph Lejeune (Sherry). Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Alma Shepard, Agnus Lejeune, Jr., Dewey Lejeune, Whitney Doucet and Iry Lejeune. Son of the late Lucie Bellard Lejeune and Agnus Lejeune. Age, 81 years. A native of Acadia Parish, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse, LA for many years. Mr. Lejeune was a U.S. Army Veteran having served as a Paratrooper in the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a general contractor and was the Chief Building Inspector in Plaquemines Parish for many years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the N. O. Electrical Association, IAEI, and the Westbank Elks Lodge #2496 are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 Hwy. 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Parlors will be open at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 6 PM until 10 PM and again Friday from 8 AM until 11 AM.
