Dennis F. Dunn of Gretna , LA passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013 at 11:40 pm at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Lorraine Matherne Dunn. Father of Dawn Dunn Bahan (Johnny) and Denise Dunn Chavers (Darren). Son of the late Yvonne Overputt and Walter L. Dunn. Brother of Paul Dunn (Emma), Walter Dunn (Esta), Michael and Raymond (Gail) Dunn. Grandfather of Jared and Blake Bahan, Caiden Chavers, Gavin and C.J. Prieto. Son in law of Harold Matherne, Sr. and the late Eldred Matherne. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family, also Gretna and Jefferson Parish Police Departments are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Street , Gretna , LA on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Parlors will be open at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey , LA on Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm.
