Dennis M. Whaley

Dennis M. Whaley passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the age of 70. He was the step-father of Nathan Carroll of Dallas, Texas. Son of the late Allyene and H.M. Whaley. Brother of Susan Whaley, Lynda Reynolds and the late Kerry Whaley. He was also survived by his beloved canine companion, Dakota. He retired from the US Army Reserves as a LT Col. and also served in the USAF. He was a Deacon in the Mt. Olivet Episcopal Church, a member of New Orleans Rugby, and a member of the VFW Post 3121. He was a native of San Diego, CA and a resident of Algiers, LA for 25 years. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Mt. Olivet Episcopal Church, 530 Pelican Avenue, Algiers, LA at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to LASPCA.
