Dewayne "Steve" Williams

Dewayne “Steve” Williams passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 44. He was a resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved husband of Amy Chighizola Williams. Father of Ashley Williams. Step father of Andrew, Sarah, Emily Chighizola and Matthew Rivere. Son of Dorene Taylor and the late Bobby “Frank” Williams, Sr. Stepson of Robert “Bob” Taylor. Brother of Frankie Williams (Christine) and Angela Cummings (Norman). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Norris and Shirley Delatte and Harper and Pauline Williams. He was born on January 3, 1971, was a member of local IBEW 130 and was employed by Cordes Electric. Steve’s visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6PM until 10PM. The visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
