Diane “DD” Bartholomew entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the age of 63. Beloved and loving wife of Preston Felix Bartholomew, Sr. Daughter of the late William King, Sr. and Harriet Eckerd King. Loving and devoted mother of Dawn Marie Bartholomew, Paul Dominick Bartholomew, Sr. (Brandy) and the late Preston Felix Bartholomew, Jr. Devoted Grandmother of Christopher Sparnecht, George “Scooby” Dickinson Jr., Paul Bartholomew, Jr., Terren Creamer, Dylan Dickinson and Ryan Bartholomew. Special Great Grandmother of Arabella Bartholomew. Loving sister of George Junot III (Judy), William King, Jr., Kim Beaver (Thomas), Bruce King (Lynn), Terri Cerniglia (Sean) and the late Sheila Schneider (Survived by Victor). “DD” is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and close friends. She was a former resident of St. Bernard Parish and was presently residing in LaCombe, LA. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 8, 2013, 11am until 1pm at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, La.
