Diane Marie Delaune Knox, born August 4, 1948 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the age of 65. Wife of Wayne Alford by first marriage and Byron Knox by second marriage. Daughter of the late Stanley J. Delaune, Sr. and Lorina H. D. Zeringue. Devoted and loving mother of Sherri Alford Pizani (Husband Francisco), Gwen A. Soileau (Husband Chad, Sr.) and the late Sheila Alford and Wayne D. Alford, Jr. Grandmother of Chad Jr., Nicole (Mikel), Daniel, Brandy (Michael), Brittany, Tiffany, Gary (Wife Amanda), Malcolm, Staci (Co Jack), Tracy (Blake) and the late Laura and Raylynn. Also survived by 15 great grandchildren. Loving sister of Loretta D. Camus (Husband Ernest), Marilyn Delaune, Jeannie D. Enclade (Husband Michael), Lisa Z. Shano, Susan Z. Dufrene (Husband Cliff), Fabian Zeringue and the late Stanley J. Delaune, Jr. (Wife the late Mary), Patsy A. Delaune and Larry A. Delaune (Survived by wife, Fay). Diane is survived by her friend, Crystal Flynt and children. Diane was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Westwego, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, November 2, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Information: 504-366-4343
