Dilda Martin Stapler, age 90, departed this life on Easter Sunday morning to join her parents, Davis and Edna Martin and her husband of 43 years, Guy H. Stapler. “Mere” is survived by her daughter, Lydia Stapler Folse, grandson, Eric James Folse (Cheryl), great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Kaitlyn, nieces Cynthia Stapler Price and Suzanne Jeffers Farina and her favorite nephew, Gerald Jeffers.
Dilda was proud of her nearly 30 years of service to Jefferson Parish where she worked for Councilmen B. H. Miller, Jr. and TJ “Butch” Ward as well as then Parish Attorney Harry Lee. She was highly regarded for her dedication and professionalism.
Many thanks to her adopted daughters Becky Giunta, Betty Koenig, Carol Hingle, Jean Saladino, Judy Dufrene and her closest friend Mary Ann “Duckie” Hebert for their love and support.
