Dolly Elaine Still Chirchirillo passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Beloved wife of Sam Chirchirillo, Jr. for 25 years. Mother of Dolly Wright Dicken (John). Grandmother of Megan Portier, LeighAnna Rasco, Alaina Rasco, and Thomas Rasco. Stepmother of Selena Woods (Dale), Dominic Chirchirillo, and William Chirchirillo. Step-grandmother of six and step-great-grandmother of two. Daughter of the late Reba Patrick Still and Ralph “Jack” Still. Sister of Peggy Merrell, Ronald Still (Kathy), Phillip Still (Ellen), Richard Still (late Mitzi), and the late Edward Still (Gloria), Martha Pierce (Larry), and Edna Gentry (late A.J.). Age 73 years, a native of Dumas, AR, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Dolly graduated from Dumas High School in Arkansas in 1960 and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, Camp Lejeune, NC and then Quantico, VA. She was medically retired after 5 years of service due to an injury sustained in TN. She was the matriarch of her family, with a feisty, take charge spirit as the Boss, caretaker, and fix it lady. She was known for her deep love of her grandchildren, camping trips with family, telling repeat stories, and mischief making. Special Thanks to Dr. Varughese and Staff for their care and support.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 11 AM.
