Dolores "Dee" Aucoin

Dolores “Dee” Aucoin entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Aucoin. Mother of Glen Aucoin (Susan), Wayne Aucoin (Vicki) and Brad Aucoin (Roxanne). Grandmother of Chris Aucoin (Christine), Tara England (Terry), Nicholas and Adam Aucoin, Danesha Jacobs (Tom) and Jennifer Ely (Chris). Great-grandmother of Cailyn, Camryn, Caidy, Carly Aucoin, Madisyn, Zachry, Damien, Ciera England, Mason and Elizabeth Jacobs, Christopher and Bryton Ely. Sister of Ethel Fremin. Daughter of the late Gustave and Gertie Arcement. Dee retired in 1992 from Metropolitan Development Center after 20 years of dedicated service. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the West Jefferson Medical Center doctors and the nursing staff of 3-West and to the staff of Canon Hospice group for their kindness and compassionate care during her last days. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM.
