Dolores Marie Blanchard Chauvin, age 96 years, was called to be embraced by God’s love on Sunday, February 15, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. Beloved wife of 76 years to the late Thaddeus Paul Chauvin. Devout mother of Brenda, Bonnie, Sybil, Daniel and wife Brenda. Grandmother of Daniel Jr., Rodney, Karen, Kenneth, Kristine, Lisa and Jason. Preceded in death by her parents Ida and Albert Blanchard, brothers Carl, Earl and Roy, and Granddaughters Rhonda and Stephanie. She also leaves behind “Four” beautiful generations of grandchildren. Private services will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expy. Harvey LA, on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11am. Visitation for 10am until 11am.
