Dolores Ann Delaune Palermo entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of 56 years to Librorio “Buddy” Palermo. Daughter of the late Louis Delaune and Lucille Falcon Delaune. Mother of Linda Palermo Lauricella (Husband Robert), Stacey Palermo Trosclair and Joy Palermo Leco (Husband Vincent). Grandmother of Jennifer (Husband Keith), Terrin (Husband Walter), Bobby, Charles, Cody, Shelbey and Vinnie. Great Grandmother of Sya and Seth. Sister of the late Roy Delaune and Edward Delaune. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a loyal and faithful servant of the Lord, dedicating her life to caring for others. She was born in Harvey, LA and was a resident of Marrero for the past 56 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Church and a member of God’s House for over 30 years. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the West Jefferson Cancer Center and the Physicians and Staff of West Jefferson Medical Center for their love and care given. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego, LA.
