Donald Juan Anderson

Donald Juan Anderson passed away on January 27, 2016, at the age of 61. Donny was born October 25, 1954 and is survived by his mother, Betty Engelbracht; his brother, Dirk Anderson; his three sisters, Melissa Gallant (Robert), Kellye Slatton (Drew), and Holly Arnold (Lance). Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donny was lovingly raised by his step father, the late Henry Engelbracht.
Donny was steadfast in love for God and his family. He was passionate about his native city of New Orleans, the Saints, LSU Tigers, his brothers of Omega Tau, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and his friends at Michelli’s Lounge.
Donny graduated from Ben Franklin High in New Orleans, and Texas Lutheran College in Seguin, Texas. He worked for the Saints Team Store in the New Orleans Superdome.
A memorial service in Donny’s honor will be held February 13, 2016 at Love Lutheran Church, 3730 MacArthur Blvd, Algiers, LA, at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Love Lutheran Church in Donny’s name. To view and sign the online guestbook visit www.mothefunerals.com
