Donald R. Contranchis Sr. passed away on August 11, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of the late Brenda Dubois Contranchis. Father of Donna Gisclair (Calad) and Donald Contranchis Jr. (Miranda). Grandfather of Trey and Lexie Gisclair, Camryn Mendez and Makyla Contranchis. Brother of Glenda Boutte, Carl, Sandy, Albert and Nickie Contranchis Jr. Son of the late Bobbie Pierce, Beverly Carmouche Contranchis and Nickie Contranchis Sr. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Donald was a true Louisiana outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a talented craftsman who carved decoys and made pirogues. He will be sadly missed.
