Donald Louis Dauenhauer

Donald Louis Dauenhauer passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014, at the age of 61. Beloved father of Seth Dylan Dauenhauer. Son of the late Bert and Dot Dauenhauer. Brother of Denise “Missy” Rutherford, Joanie Guidry, and the late David Dauenhauer. Brother-in-law of Glenn Jones and Joseph Guidry, Jr. Uncle of Jon Guidry, Joseph Guidry, III, Jennifer Yaconi and Megan Dauenhauer. Donald was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA, a former Sergeant with the New Orleans Police Department, a retired Letter Carrier with Gretna Post Office, and currently Deputy Lieutenant with Plaquemine Parish Sheriff Department and a Court Deputy with Plaquemine Parish Court System.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of New Orleans Police Department, Gretna Post Office and Plaquemine Parish Sheriffs’ Department are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Mothe Funeral Homes, 1300 Vallette Street, New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 am.
