Donald F. “Ducky” “Don” Kravet entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving and caring family on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 54 years to Joyce Kravet. Son of the late Edmund Kravet, Sr. and Beulah Childress Kravet. Father of Bonnie K. Toups (Husband Kirk), Jeff A. Kravet (Julie), Keith A. Kravet, Becky K. Bateman (Ronald) and Chad A. Kravet (Kathleen). Survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter. Brother of Edmund “Eddie” Kravet, Jr., Richard “Dickie” Kravet and Adine “Deenie” Hamback. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Born in New Orleans and a resident of Terrytown for the past 53 years. He retired after 33 years as an Assistant Production Engineer with Chevron USA. He served in the United States Navy for 8 years. He was a graduate of 1956 from Redemporist High School. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Serenity Hospice for their love and care given to Donald. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 9AM until 1PM.
