Donald Levon Jones, age 71, of Avondale, LA passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was born in Mendenhall, MS. Beloved husband of Brenda Boudreaux Jones. Devoted father of Donald G. Jones (Tracey Harvey), the late Rebecca Rayborn Jones and Stephanie Jones Walker (Russell). Grandfather of Taylor, Kaitlyn, Megann, Shelbi, Courtni, Bradlee, and great-grandfather of Cohen. Uncle of Bill Boudreaux (Carrie), Brenna Bailey and Willow. Preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Purvis; father, Levon Jones and brother Travis H. Jones.
Relatives, friends, parishioners of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, employees of J.P.R.D., LA D.O.T.D., BCG Engineering and members of South Louisiana Highway Federal Credit Union are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Avondale, LA on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn South Cemetery in Gretna. Visitation will take place at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Saturday at the Church from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
