Donald "Don" Joseph Lovas

Donald “Don” Joseph Lovas, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 66. Beloved and loving husband of 32 years to Brenda Russell Lovas. Son of the late Earl and Lucille Lovas. Father of Stephanie Lovas Cardenal (Husband Vito) and Donald “DJ” Lovas, Jr. Grandfather of Emma Leigh Cardenal. He leaves to cherish his memory his longtime family member, Aunt Jan. Brother of the late Earl “Jr” Lovas (Survived by wife Linda) and Beverly Lovas Owens. Don is also survived by host of nieces and nephews. He was born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for the past 40 years. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Heart of Hospice for their love and care given to Don and family during his time of illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 9AM until 1PM.
