Throughout his life, a man of many talents, Don dedicated himself to mastering anything he faced. His true passion was architectural design, where his creativity truly shined. His greatest joy was creating spaces where people could sit down, share stories, cook meals, and enjoy some of life’s best moments. Whether designing a outdoor kitchen or making a small gathering space just right, Don expressed his pride in crafting environments that brought people together, leaving a legacy of warmth and connection that will endure the lives he touched and the spaces he shaped. Don could be found at blues festivals, Saints games, fishing, or crafting the next best recipe with his brother and father. The meals they created together were unforgettable, always enhanced by Dad’s cherished, spot-on advice. His love for food, family, and the simple joys in life made every moment special for those around him.
As Don Jr. lays his eyes to rest, he will be loved by all and respected by even more. A genuine man, Don was someone who deserved all the love the world could give.
