Donna Faye Woody Scallan went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Scallan, Sr. Mother of Sandra Scallan Mays and the late John "Joey" Joseph Scallan, Jr. Grandmother of Maegan Mays Hankston (Jermaine), and the late Richard Paul Mays. Daughter of the late Enoch and Jimmie Louise Woody. Sister of Richard Woody (Patricia), and the late Helen Woody, Mae Andrews, Bobby Woody, and L.E. Woody. Sister in law of Linda Scallan Mire (Ronald). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Beloved Gram of canine companion, Chloee. A native of Florence, Alabama and a resident of Kenner, LA for 43 years, and of Marrero, LA for the past 10 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Cornerstone Christian Center are invited to attend A Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 1pm. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, La. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10am until 1pm.
