Dora Oser Durgin

Dora Oser Durgin peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the age of 90. She is the very beloved wife of the late Alvin Thomas Durgin, Jr. Daughter of the late John Frank Oser and Clara Ethel Fitch Oser. Loving mother of Alvin T. Durgin III (Wife Cathy Budway Durgin), Gwen Ann Davis (Husband William Davis) and Susan Marie LeBlanc (Husband Rhett LeBlanc). Grandmother of Steven Durgin, Bobby Johnson, Eric Johnson, Brian Johnson, Tara Wilhite and Jamie Domingue and the late Timothy Durgin. Step Grandmother of Jennifer Bulot and Jessica Smith. Sister of the late John F. Oser, Jr., Anna Danjean, Charles Oser and Dolores Ruth Jansson. Dora is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. She was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. The family would like to thank Janet for her loving assistance. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, LA on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in McDonoughville Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
