Dora Dupont Marciante

Dora Dupont Marciante went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Xavier Marciante. Daughter of the late Pearl George Dupont, Sr. and Christina Fazzio Dupont. Loving and devoted mother of Carlos Michael Marciante, Sandra Maria Marciante and Joette M. Baker (Jerry). Sister of James Andrew Dupont and the late Peter Dupont, Paul Dupont and Pearl George Dupont, Jr. Dora is survived also by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Houma, LA and resided in Gretna, LA for the past 65 years. Dora was a Member of God’s House located in Marrero, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 8:30AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM with Brother Chip Radke officiating. Interment will be in Hook and Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Information: 504-366-4343.
