Doretta "Dee Dee" Gautreaux

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved Dee Dee (Doretta) Gautreaux on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the age of 54, who suffered from complications with Prader Willie Syndrome. She was the daughter of Charles and Deanna Dubois Gautreaux of Gretna. She will be missed by her devoted and loving sister, Julie Gautreaux. She was greeted in heaven by her grandparents, the late Pervis and Flo Dubois, Ivy and Edith Gauthreaux, her special aunts, Jeanette Dubois Stoute and Loretta Dubois. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gretna and a graduate of St. Michael Special School. She was lifetime member of the West Jefferson Hospital Volunteer JPRD Programs, ARC and the Step Program. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 1:30pm.
