Doris Mustacchia Alfortish passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of 65 years to Henry E. Alfortish. Mother of David H. Alfortish (Catherine) and Kevin J. Alfortish (Diana). Daughter of the late Frances McCarthy Mustacchia and Joseph A. Mustacchia. Sister of the late JoAnn Carlini and Frances Tusch. Grandmother of David Alfortish, Jr. (Amanda), Stephanie A. Brown (Ben), Blake Alfortish (Danielle), Michael Alfortish and Mary Alfortish. Great Grandmother of Avery, Alec,Jacob and David, III. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 49 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 1:30PM. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 10AM until 1:30PM. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
