Doris “Dot” Kass Eckerle of Gulport, Mississippi passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Robert M. Eckerle, Sr. Mother of Robert M. Eckerle, Jr., Anna Schellinger, Jean Sallinger, Dolores (Dodie) Angelo, Robin Castiglione and Chad Eckerle, Sr. Mother-in-law of Lee Eckerle, Athanase Schellinger, Terry Sallinger, Sr., Michael Angelo, Peitro (Pete) Castiglione and Star Eckerle. Daughter of the late Jean Bonamour Kass and Francis X. Kass, Sr. Sister of Joseph Kass and the late Francis, Jr., Dolores, Robert, Sr., Jean Rita and William Kass and Elizabeth (Betty) Weaver. Grandmother of the late Baby No Name Eckerle and Angel Badeaux and is survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 am.
