Doris Smith Doucet entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Walter R. Doucet. Daughter of the late John Philip Smith and Arsene Buras Smith. Sister of the late Louis V. Smith, Feltus J.H. Smith, Clifford D. Smith, Ernest C. Smith, Adele L. Barrois, Anna A. Barrois, Viola V. Smith and Verna F. Buras. Doris is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of Venice, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 8AM until 10AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:30AM.
