Doris Champagne Guidry

Doris Champagne Guidry, 91, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Brenham, Texas. She was born in Waggaman, Louisiana on June 15, 1921. She was a previous resident of Marrero, Louisiana. She is survived by her son Larry and daughter-in-law Laura both of Carmine, Texas; granddaughter Koren Guidry Jones and her husband Chris, and great-grandsons Brenden and Nathan Jones of Amherst, New Hampshire. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Lawrence J. (Byrd) Guidry, grandson Grant Quinn Guidry and brothers Louis Champagne and Earl Champagne. A visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette Street, Algiers, Louisiana on July 19, 2013 from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Private interment will take place at McDonogh Cemetery.
