Doris Evans "Mickey" Hirnyck

Doris Evans “Mickey” Hirnyck passed away on May 26, 2012 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late David H. Hirnyck. Mother of Debra Marin (Francisco), Michael Hirnyck (Theresa), David Hirnyck III and Mark Hirnyck. Grandmother of Michael, Patricia, Francisco Jr., Chelsea, Carlee and Josh. Great-grandmother of Lila, Andres, Antonio, Ashley and Victoria. Sister of Thomas Evans Jr. (Marie) and Carolyn Wagner (Robert). Daughter of the late Irene Luckenbill Evans and Thomas Evans Sr.
She was a native of New Ringgold, PA, resided in Harvey, LA, was Treasurer of Fleet Reserve Unit No. 162 Auxiliary, Secretary of the Navy Wives, attended Salem Lutheran Church and was a member of the former Krewe of Nefertari. She was loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
